What is the Bus Project?

The Bus is an innovative vehicle for hands-on democracy.

We drive votes.
We drive leaders.
We drive change.
(And yes, we have a bus.)
We’re not mass transit, but we’re in favor of that sort of thing. We’re about people-powered politics. We’re building a movement. Not left, not right, but forward.

Rebooting Democracy is the Bus Project’s biannual conference for the public interest. In March 2010, over 300 next-generation leaders will come together to build their organizing skills, craft common objectives, and chart the future of hands-on democracy in Oregon.

Where’s Oregon going? We don’t know yet. But we’ll bet you it starts here.
