Support the change our next generation needs 🫱🏼‍🫲🏾

Since 2002, we've been amplifying youth voices in Oregon. Today, we’re an incubator for the next generation of leaders rallying for racial and social justice. When you invest in our work, you can power up youth organizing that reimagines an Oregon where all communities can thrive.

Next Up Action Fund makes tangible change happen. Through our 501(c)4, your donations directly power up our youth-led advocacy and electoral work, helping us fight for a most just and equitable Oregon. Donations to Next Up Action Fund are not tax-deductible.

Next Up amplifies the voices and leadership of diverse young people like you to achieve a more just and equitable Oregon through our 501(c)3.

93.7% of eligible Oregonians are registered to vote.

WHAT WE’VE ACCOMPLISHED

You can help power this kind of change. Our efforts have helped make Oregon the #1 most accessible state to vote in, with 93.7% of Oregonians registered to vote. With local youth, we passed online voter registration, the nation’s first automatic voter registration (AVR) law, created a pre-registration program for 16 and 17-year-olds, passed Paid Postage for ballots, and championed accessibility and language improvements. An investment into building youth power, incubating movement leaders, and passing meaningful policy is needed more than ever.

  • At Next Up and Next Up Action Fund, we solicit and accept gifts consistent with our mission and core values. As an organization that is anti-racist, youth-focused, and youth-led while envisioning justice for all, our team holds the right to discuss and examine donations offered from individuals, organizations, or companies that have shown evidence of racist, discriminatory practices or predatory actions and retain the right to decline donations.

As you contribute, take a moment to reflect on what it means to trust young people. Further, we encourage you to pledge to value the leadership and decision-making done by youth. Young people, especially Black, Indigenous, Asian, and Latine youth, are often on the frontlines of what is morally correct and, because of that, are met with intense pushback. As an organization that centers youth decision-making, donations can be intentionally or unintentionally wielded against youth organizing. We all sincerely appreciate your support.
