What is the Bus?
The Bus is an innovative vehicle for hands-on democracy. We drive votes, leaders, and change. (And yes, we have a bus.) We’re not mass transit, but we’re in favor of that sort of thing. We’re about people-powered politics. We’re building a movement. Not left, not right, but forward.

We Did It! 7500 Voters Registered
Building Votes volunteers turned in more than 7500 voter registration cards in time for the May 20th primary. Woo hoo! Now for the next goal: 20,000 voter registrations before the general election. (And actually getting them to vote.) Even niftier, and Building Votes and the Student Vote Coalition were part of a statewide sea change in which more than 62,000 NEW voters registered.

Though ‘Under Construction’ web page signs went out of vogue in 1998, a note is warranted: Please excuse our dust. This site isn’t yet fully built. A volunteer-driven redesign is underway in the wake of some international hacker mischief.
